Dear Visitor,
The past year was extremely eventful for ALUT. First and foremost, we congratulate Mr. Eytan Mizrachi who began his position as ALUT's new CEO on August 1st.
We are confident that Mr. Mizrachi will lead ALUT forward to new horizons.
Here is a taste of what happened this year:

Family Centers
ALUT started many new support groups for parents, siblings and grandparents; we held workshops and lectures throughout the country on various subjects related to autism. Additionally, we helped hundreds of families navigate the system after they received a diagnosis that their children were on the autism spectrum.

Children Division
We enlarged the number of toddlers receiving treatment in our Alutaf pre-schools.
Treatments in the communication kindergartens were expanded.
We established "round-table" discussions together with other human-service organizations and with the Ministries of Health and Welfare to discuss autism-related problems that all organizations are experiencing nationwide.

Training Tomorrow’s Professionals

The four Simchoni sisters did their national-service year working with toddlers at ALUT's Alutaf pre-schools. Mali, the eldest sister, was the first to volunteer for ALUT and her three younger sisters followed her example one after the other. The four of them fell in love with ALUT’s children and were impressed by the quality of their treatment. These young women are now climbing the ranks and continuing their professional path at ALUT.
Today, Mali (32) is an instructor at an Alutaf in Holon. Shani (30) is a kindergarten teacher at an Alutaf in Rishon-LeZion. Liraz (26) is a teaching assistant in a kindergarten, and Adi (20) is soon finishing her national-service year at Alutaf in Petach-Tikva.
